PS: No more logitech periphery for me unless I hear about Logitech getting their shit together with G-Hub. If there's nothing like that, I'll try the older driver software again (which used to have its own share of issues for me) and otherwise give up, I suppose. Alas, the only thing updating G-Hub ever did for me was breaking the entire program or deleting profiles so. Now, in my innocence, I assumed that would probably get fixed rather sooner than later, so I kept updating G-Hub. That lasts until I press that button again (with G-Shift) or in rare cases even persists until I restart my PC. Reason being: For several months/versions of G-Hub now, my mouse (G502 Proteus Spectrum) gets occasionally 'stuck' when using the G-Shift button where it spams the G-shift-altered mouse button command.
